The pedestal fiber distribution hub is used as a termination point for the feeder cable to connect with drop cable in FTTX communication network systems. Fiber splicing, splitting and distribution can be done in this box while it provides solid protection and management for FTTX networks. A special self-locating cover security feature ensures that the pedestals lock properly without requiring special alignment.
The pedestal has two-stage environmental protection of fiber optic loop distribution cable and customer service drops in FTTX deployments. This two-stage protection is accomplished by housing a weather-tight interior enclosure within the confines of a non-metallic buried distribution pedestal. We can put the terminal boxes with 2 fibers to 16 fibers inside the pedestal.

*Inner racks are customized to the different applications, such as for trunk fiber splicing or for modular splitter access.
